Listen to our Promos-Sweepers demo For nearly nine years, Bob Worthington was the host and producer of one of the most successful syndicated oldies shows in radio history, "SOLID GOLD SATURDAY NIGHT", which aired coast-to-coast "live" from Manhattan, first on the United Stations Radio Network, then Unistar, and finally over the Westwood One Radio Network. For five consecutive years (1988-1992), the show was nominated as top syndicated adult-contemporary show by Billboard Magazine! In 1992 "SOLID GOLD SATURDAY NIGHT" won the Silver Medal at the prestigious New York International Radio Festival (Casey Kasem's "American Top 40" won the Gold Medal that year). "SOLID GOLD SATURDAY NIGHT" was heard on great stations across America like: WNSR in New York City, KRTH-AM - Los Angeles, KLUV-Dallas, WMMJ-Washington, D.C, WROR-Boston, KFMK-Houston, CKLW-FM Detroit, KOOL-FM-Phoenix and over 250 stations! As a radio air personality, Bob Worthington spent more than a decade in New York City on some of the most well known, most-listened-to radio stations in America... stations like "Mix 105" WNSR, the legendary WCBS-FM and the venerable "Today's 93.1" WPAT where he did the morning drive show.
